Get 15 Saves Fast in Rocket League Online Matches with This Simple Method

Many new players mention that getting saves in Rocket League is difficult. In reality, it can be achieved easily, even for beginners. The task is to get 15 saves or epic saves in online matches. The simplest way to complete this challenge is to go to Play and choose Casual. Then select 2v2 Heat Seeker mode.

The 2v2 Heat Seeker mode is the easiest for accumulating saves, as the ball constantly returns toward the goal, giving frequent save opportunities.

Note that this mode may not always be available, as it rotates. If unavailable, wait until it returns for the best results.

Basic Controls for New Players

Boost: Left Click
Jump: Right Click
Change Camera: Space Bar
Keeping the camera on the ball (by pressing the space bar) makes it easier to track and save incoming shots.
How to Position for More Saves

The best strategy is to stay in front of your goal and wait for the ball to come toward you. When the ball approaches, focus on timing your jumps and positioning to block or deflect it.

Example: Remain in the middle of your goal to maximize coverage and react to both high and low shots.

Sometimes teammates may reach the ball first, but staying alert for every opportunity increases your save count.

Tips for Getting Multiple Saves in One Match

Tip Description
Aim for 3+ saves per match Consistently achieving 3 or more saves per game lets you complete the challenge in about 4-5 matches.
Stay near the goal Standing too far out makes it harder to defend and easier to miss the ball.
Use ball camera Press space bar to keep the ball in view, making timing and positioning simpler.
Do not bump teammates from behind Bumping teammates can cause missed saves for both players.
Practice jump timing Learning the timing for both small and large jumps helps block more shots.
Epic Save or Regular Save Both Count

Both epic saves and regular saves contribute to the challenge. An epic save occurs when a shot is about to enter the goal and is blocked at the last moment. Both types are valid for progress.

If four or more saves are made in one match, the challenge can be completed in as few as three to four games.
Checking Progress and Completing the Challenge

After matches, view challenges in the menu to track progress. Upon reaching 15 saves or epic saves, claim and equip the reward.

Always check which saves are counted post-match. Sometimes only epic or direct goal saves are registered.

Success in one game can easily result in 4-6 saves, even for brand new players.

Final Example Match Experience

In a single match, achieving five saves (three of which were epic) is very possible by simply focusing on defending and not overextending. Even if teammates take some saves, maintaining focus and positioning will result in consistent progress.

Example: Five saves in one match, three of them epic, allows the player to complete the challenge in just a few matches.

Once the quota is reached, return to the menu, check the challenge status, and enjoy the new skin or reward.
