How Can I Make a Trade Request in Madden 23 Face of the Franchise

When you begin playing Face of the Franchise in Madden 23, you will be prompted to select a team for which you want to play as soon as the game begins.

On the other hand, during the course of the season, you might find yourself having second thoughts about picking that team.  You may not get as much playing time as you would like, there may be poor team chemistry, perhaps the fit isn't right for the way you play, or perhaps your team isn't winning and you want to change that.  All of these are valid reasons to consider looking for a new team.

So, here's the scenario: you're ready to give up, but you don't want to throw away all of the hard work you've put into developing your player up until this point.

There is a glaring opportunity for a solution. . . In Madden 23, Face of the Franchise, is it possible to submit a trade request? Sadly, you can't.  On the other hand, you can switch teams in a different way that does not require you to make a trade request first.  Let me explain.

The History of the Brand's Most Recognizable Character

1. The Face of the Franchise mode in Madden 23 underwent a significant transformation when compared to previous iterations of the game

2.   You no longer begin the game as a college student striving to be selected in the NFL draft; rather, you begin the game as an undrafted free agent who is given the opportunity to make it into the league

3.   If you take pleasure in playing through the draft, you are going to be dissatisfied with this venue

4.   The beginning of the game takes place during the preseason, which is roughly equivalent to the middle of the Face of the Franchise mode in previous games

During the course of the game, you will only be able to control your own player if you choose to play in the player lock mode, which is part of the game mode.

How to Change Sports Teams
You will be responsible for creating your own player at the beginning of the game.  This includes everything from your appearance and game gear to your individual skill set.  A cutscene will play, during which you will be given the opportunity to choose which team you want to play for.  After the scene, you will show them what you've got and sign a contract for a year's worth of work.

You will first be required to fulfill the terms of that one-year contract before being allowed to choose another team.  Because there are no options for it in any of the menus or dialogs, requesting a trade from management will not be possible.  This is because there are no options available for it.  You will have the opportunity to switch teams at the end of the season; however, this cannot be done through a transfer.

Where should you begin, with which group?
This one is entirely up to you, and if you want to, you can choose your favorite team and compete for them if you want to.  However, before making a choice, you ought to take a few things into consideration first.

A letter grade will be assigned to each team's offer based on what they have to offer.  When the grade is higher, it indicates that they have a greater need for a player of your position.  The second icon, which represents "scheme fit," focuses primarily on how well your playstyle complements that of the team.

Your playstyle is entirely determined by the way you play, and the fit is primarily determined by the style of the position you play.  For instance, if you are a quarterback who throws a lot of accurate long passes, the playbook that a team currently uses might not be a good fit for you.

You are able to make adjustments and also compete for better positions if you want to choose based on which team is your favorite.  It is possible that it will take more time, but the results will be well worth the wait.

Make an offer to extend the contract.

The organization will keep a close eye on you throughout the season and give you feedback on a regular basis.  Your representative will make an effort to negotiate an extension of your contract with the team around the middle of the season.

Your current performance with the team, in addition to your overall rating, will be taken into consideration when making this offer.  More than your overall rating, the numbers will determine how well your performance is evaluated.  In the course of my playthrough, I had a record of 7-2 prior to being offered a contract extension.  You are going to have to say no to this offer if you ever plan on changing teams in the future.  If you don't, you'll be required to honor the two-year contract extension, or whatever other number of years they offer on your extension and you agree to in the end.

You are obligated to take into consideration the Creds and Rep that you will obtain as a result of the contract.  These are what contribute to the overall improvement of your rating.  Up until the point where the contract extension was being discussed, I had been doing extremely well for the team, but things might be a little bit different if your team is losing or if your performance is poor.

The insufficient amount of playing time at the beginning led to both of the team's losses.  The player lock was implemented into this mode, and as a result, the game does not allow you to play the majority of the 4th downs.  After a touchdown, there is no opportunity to try and score an extra point because the game does not allow it.  It is strange, and in my opinion, it does not feel great to not have control over these situations, but that is the direction that EA has taken the mode this year.  The mode has been taken over by EA this year.

Bringing an end to both the season and the contract

After turning down the opportunity to extend your contract, you will finish the season with your current team and play until either they are eliminated from the playoffs or they win the Super Bowl.  The higher the total score that you and your team achieve, the better the contract offer that you will be presented with.  If you suffer an immediate setback, it will have a negative impact on your overall market value.  You have to advance through all of the weeks of the season until you reach the free agency period in order to receive contract offers from multiple teams at the conclusion of the season.  As in the beginning of your career, your agent will brief you on the offers that have been made to you, and you will have the opportunity to choose a new organization.

You will receive a unique offer from each of the teams.  The offer shown in the image to the right was the best one I got in terms of reps and credentials, and it was for a contract that lasted for two years.

There are some offers that give out less rep and cred.  Always pick the character that has the best fit and offers the highest reputation bonus and reputation per game.  If you do so, you will be able to obtain an overall rating of 99 as quickly as possible.  If you want to switch teams in two years instead of three, you should take the length of the contract into consideration.  I haven't come across a single deal that includes a one-year commitment anywhere.

There is no difference between this offer and the extension offer in terms of the amount of reputation and credibility that you can acquire by taking advantage of either one.  Even though it has a higher market value, that is not the primary concern here.  You do not have anything that would be worth spending your money on at this time.  You might be able to get a better deal here if your performance has declined in the time leading up to the contract extension.

Always give it your best effort, and you'll find that people are willing to pay you more money and give you a higher rating overall.  When it comes to changing teams, you always have the option to turn your favorite team into a dynasty, and having a high overall rating will be of great assistance in this endeavor.
